1. What is the main difference between this card and the Shell Escape Card I have currently?

1. What is the main difference between this card and the Shell Escape Card I have currently?

They are 2 completely different products.

The Shell Card issued by Best Petrol & Diesel Supply allows users to purchase fuel with cashless convenience (Pump & Go Feature) on credit.

The Shell Escape Card is a loyalty card that allows user to earn Escape Points.

There is no comparison as the fuel card issued by us is not openly available on the market for individual consumers. Other forms of incentives will be available with other credit card promotions.
 


2. Is this card transferrable between myself and my family?

Yes, as long as the principal card holder is undertaking the payment.
 


3. How do I use the card at the service station?

Steps:
1) Insert your Fuel Card into the card slot at the pump island
2) Enter your 4 digit PIN
3) Follow onscreen instruction
4) Fill up
5) Press for receipt

Receipt will only show gross prices, discounts will be reflected in the bi-weekly invoices and GIRO deduction will take place 3 days from invoice date.
 


4. What are the qualifying criteria for the card?

Applicant has to be an employee working in an organization under the Corporate Employee Scheme.

Applicant has to meet qualifying income of SGD$50k/Annum or is agreeable to a fully refundable deposit.
 


5. What would my credit limit for the card be and can i change my credit limit?

Customers can elect their own credit limit upon registration and credit limits can be changed at a later date subject to credit approval.
 


6. Do I have to pay any subscription or registration fees for the fuel card?

No, we do not charge any subscription or registration fees.
 


7. In the event of lost card, will there be any fees charged for the replacement card?

No, replacement cards are free.
 


8. Are there any termination charges for termination of the card?

9. How is the invoice generated and when will it be sent to me?

The invoice is generated based on cardholder's usage.

The user will be billed on a bi-weekly basis and electronic invoices will be sent to your designated email address.
 


10. What payment modes do you accept?

We accept payment by GIRO only. (credit card for contingency payments only)
 


11. What happens if the GIRO deduction was unsuccessful and I do not have a credit card account registered with Best Petrol & Diesel Supply?

We will not be able process applications without credit card payment authorisation as contingency payment mode.

The alternate credit card payment mode also serves as a convenience offering for customers who may have overlooked the GIRO deduction dates.
 


12. What happens if I pumped beyond the credit limit at the service station?

The card will not allow the transaction to go beyond the limit. If users choose to manually override the pump, the system will take it that the user is pumping on a cash payment mode.
 


13. Are there any restrictions on the type of fuel I can pump using my card? E.g Am I only restricted to certain grades like 95/98 etc?

No, users are free to select Petrol, Diesel or ALL Fuel type.
 


14. Can I use this card outside of Singapore?

No, this card can only be used in Singapore. Return to Top
 


15. How secure is my deposit payment with Best Petrol & Diesel Supply if I choose to go by the Fuel only mode?

As an Authorised Fuel Card Reseller of Shell, we have passed stringent review. In addition, we are supported by investors with substantial financial strength.
 


16. How do I terminate my card if I decide not to use the card anymore and how soon I can get my deposit back from Best Petrol & Diesel Supply?

You may write in to enquiry@bestpetrol.com.sg to terminate your fuel card. Upon settling all outstanding payments, your deposit will be refunded in a month from the day of full settlement.
 


17. How can I contact Best petrol & Diesel Supply in the event I have concerns about the billing/invoicing or other concerns?

18. Can I opt to pay the bill partially instead of the full amount?

No, full payments are required on our bi-weekly billings.
 


19. Can i request for a hardcopy of the invoice instead of an E-invoice?

The only option available for all our customers will be an E-invoice.
 


20. What is the deposit & prepayment required if I do not wish to apply for credit facility?

As we are providing credit facilities, we need these documents to approve your credit facilities.


2. Do I need to place deposits?

This will be dependent on the credit assessment of the company.


3. How secured are my deposits with Best Petrol & Diesel Supply as an Authorised Sheel Fuel Cards Reseller?

As an Authorised Shell Fuel Cards Reseller, we have passed stringent reviews. In addition, we are supported by investors with substantial financial strength.


4. Can I pay via other means?

Giro is the only available mode of payment.


5. Can I request for monthly billing instead of the bi-weekly billing?

The only mode of billing available is bi-weekly billing. Bi-weekly billing allows SMEs to keep closer tabs on their fuel expenditure.


6. How do I use the card at the service station?

Steps:

9. What should I do if I lose my card?

Call us at 68982525 for immediate termination. You may also submit a request for a replacement card.


10. How can I request for replacement pins?

Send us an email to enquiry@bestpetrol.com.sg or alternatively you may call us at 68982525.


11. Can I request for hardcopy invoices?

The only available option for our customers will be an E-invoice.


12. How do I use the odometer reading feature?

Please call us at 68982525 and our Account Manager will explain the feature in detail.


13. What happens if I pumped beyond the credit limit at the service station?

The card will not allow the transaction to go beyond the limit. If users choose to manually override the pump, the system will take it that the user is pumping on a cash payment mode. Limits can be adjusted with every card.


14. Can I use this card outside of Singapore?
